Trek Space · Trekking Management Application
A role-based web application for managing treks, staff and bookings, developed for the IIT Madras Diploma App Dev I project.
What I did
- Developed a trekking management application with separate workflows for administrators, trek staff and trekkers.
- Implemented role-based access control for user and staff approval, blocking, trek management, staff assignment and booking administration.
- Built trek search and filtering, booking and slot reservation logic, booking approval, trek history, profile management and role-specific dashboards.
- Structured the Flask application with modular authentication, administrator, staff and common/user route modules, SQLAlchemy models and Jinja2 templates.
- Used server-side sessions and flash messages for authentication, validation and practical application feedback.
